Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Gerber Training Pants - 6 Pairs - These are a wonderfully basic training pant that can be an effective potty training tool. The center panel consists of front and back layers of 100% combed cotton and the absorbent interior is a 50/50 cotton/poly blend. These training pants have enough absorbency for little leaks on the way to the toilet and are inexpensive enough to keep plenty on hand. They are also great under pants for toddlers from size 2T through size 4T. $19.95 for a six pairs in white, boy's colors or girl's colors. Colors and prints vary over time and are not necessarily as shown in the photo.

2 out of 5 stars Didn't really work in our case   November 25, 2008
These probably work for some kids but my 3 year old daughter thought they were underwear and would ask for a pull-up to go potty in. I meant to buy them so if she had an accident while wearing them she'd be able to feel the messiness. Nope, she knows the difference between these and pull-ups and has only gone in the potty once while wearing them. She actually would rather wear her underwear. Still trying to get her to go in the potty though. I need to figure out another way to out-smart her!

These are just as described. Well worth the price I thought steep at the time of purchase. Love them.

3 out of 5 stars Gerber training pants   August 27, 2008

The pants are wonderfully soft. However, they are not as absorbent as I thought they'd be and aren't exactly helpful in the potty training process.

5 out of 5 stars Great pants!   July 29, 2008

We bought these, Luvable Friends, and Potty Patty training pants. These were our favorite of the three because they are not too thick (Potty Patty are a bit thick) and are more cottony and stretchy than Luvable Friends (Luvable friends tend to run a little small in size, I think). If I could start over, I would just get these ones for our 2-year-old.

5 out of 5 stars Gerber Training Pants - Finally   July 28, 2008

I am so glad I finally found these online since they are no where in the stores anymore. The pulls ups seem to hold so much that it's really just like wearing a diaper didn't really help with potty training. My daughter wasn't quite ready for big girl underwear yet so these were a nice transition at least held some of the urine if she did have an accident--in fact, I don't think she ever had an accident in these after we started using them. When she did good all day, we had her wear these at night time instead of continuing with the pull ups since it seems more more kids/parents continue to depend on these allow them to wet thru the night.
