Do Not Do Business with this company November 19, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I did not receive the glass plate that makes the scale functional. Amazon basically said "Tough Luck". Basically they say that ordering from this company is a crap shoot and the onus is on you By making the customer go through the hassle of returning the item rather then making things right, they hope you'll give up. That way Amazon and Wintime Scales both make money. It's the worst experience I have ever had with Amazon.br /br /This is what I received from Amazon. br /br /Thanks for contacting us at Amazon.com.br /br /Please accept my sincere apologize about the problem you experienced with your shipment.br /br /It is quite unfortunate that one of our best customers has to face such a difficulty. It is certainly not our intention for our customers to have anything but a pleasant experience at our store.br /br /This item is sold by "Wintime Scales" one of our merchants and shipped by Amazon.com.br /br /I'm sorry, but because "Wintime Scales" inventory is constantly changing, we can't replace any items sold by "Wintime Scales" that are Fulfilled by Amazon.br /br /I realize that you have been greatly inconvenienced by this situation. This is unacceptable and is not what we want you to expect from us.br /br /At this point, I kindly request you to return the package for refund. Also, as this return is a result of our error, we'll pay the return shipping charges.

Good product September 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Careful with the glass surface! Probably should stash the top in a drawer to avoid impact. Easily switches form metric to standard. Runs on easily available button batteries. Shuts off promptly when not in use.
It is a good product. May 31, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It looks good. When I use it, it is accurate and easy to operate. I am glad that I have it.
great for baking April 5, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
this scale is great for flours and other dry goods which can compact and give you distorted amounts if you weigh by volume. The bread making has improved since we left measuring cups and started weighing. It is sensitive enough to get exact amounts and strong enough to handled the quantity of flour for large loaves.
